Job summary

Belk in the United States seeks a Merchandising Team Manager to lead a team of associates in store operations, merchandising, and facilities, delivering a positive customer experience and driving sales and profitability.

You will collaborate with operations, visual merchandising, and selling teams to ensure planograms, pricing, signage, and product presentation are accurate, while overseeing deliveries, inventory, and store fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Ability to lead a team and drive key metrics.
• Strong coaching and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to move and lift heavy objects as required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and drive store objectives and key metrics.
• Lead back-of-house operations including receiving and processing deliveries and replenishment.
• Direct front-of-house operations: product placement, floor sets, pricing, promotions, and customer service.
• Collaborate with selling and visual teams to maintain merchandise presentations and planograms.
• Participate in weekly leadership meetings and use planning tools to forecast receipts and labor.
• Develop staff through coaching and training to ensure consistent performance.
• Foster engagement and recognize achievements to build store culture.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and career development to maintain bench strength.
• Maintain shortage control and inventory accuracy with asset protection standards.
