Job summary

Freedom Village Store in Sykesville, MD, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily sales floor operations, supervise team members, and ensure excellent customer service while supporting Goodwill's mission.

This full-time role requires at least one year of retail management and customer service experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to pass background checks. Starting pay is $50,958 per year with a monthly bonus up to $1,000.

Qualifications

• One-year work experience in Retail Management required.
• One-year customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of the sales floor and manages team performance.
• Ensures excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Monitors store metrics and budgets to achieve goals.
• Oversees inventory, donation processing, and visual standards.
• Acts as key holder, closes shifts, and supports store manager as needed.
• Coordinates with other store locations and training programs.
