Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Retail Store Manager in Chandler, AZ to drive store operations, lead the Assistant Store Manager, Production Team, and Donation Attendants, and ensure top-tier donor and customer service while meeting revenue and donation goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting, inventory control, staff development, and building partnerships with local organizations to advance the Goodwill mission. A proven retail leadership track record is required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift.
• One-year customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid drivers’ license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead Assistant Store Manager(s), Production Team, and Donation Attendants.
• Develop and execute store operations plans to meet income and production goals.
• Monitor payroll and operating costs to stay within budget.
• Ensure excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Maintain store appearance and brand standards; partner with community organizations.
• Provide staff training and development; manage performance and talent.
• Coordinate with Retail District Manager on strategic plans to drive donations.
• Serve as goodwill ambassador to the community and support cross-store collaboration.
