Job summary

The Key Account Manager – Bone Health role at Amgen spans San Diego and surrounding California accounts. You will build and sustain strategic relationships with healthcare providers, payors, and large networks to optimize access and disease management initiatives.

You will lead contract discussions, coordinate with matrix teams, and translate market insights into actionable plans that support Amgen’s sales performance and patient access goals across the Bone Health portfolio.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree & 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Or Master’s degree & 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Or Bachelor’s degree & 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Resides in the geography and has established relationships with key accounts/customers.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes market strategies to reach difficult to access providers and accounts.
• Leads contract delivery, business reviews and performance tracking.
• Coordinates with GPOs and large networks for payor strategies.
• Serves as lead for treatment access initiatives and pricing collaboration.
• Provides field insights and recommendations to the home office.
• Partners with Sales and Market Access teams in shared accounts.
