Job summary

Amgen seeks a motivated Key Account Manager to cover Bone Health in San Diego and surrounding areas. You’ll assess the business environment, build relationships with key accounts, and execute actions to support sales performance and brand strategies.

The role requires proven account management or public payor experience, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to navigate complex contracting and reimbursement processes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Master’s degree with 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes innovative market strategies to reach health care providers and accounts.
• Leads contract delivery, business reviews and performance tracking.
• Coordinates with GPOs and large Rheumatology Networks.
• Serves as lead for post‑fracture care initiatives.
• Provides field insight and recommendations to Pricing, Brand, and GPO teams.
