Bond Forfeiture Coordinator position within the District Attorney Office of Bexar County, San Antonio, TX, overseeing weekly bond forfeiture dockets, staff supervision, and coordination with county and district courts. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Assistance and two years legal experience, preferably in bond forfeitures
Knowledge of bond forfeiture procedures and court procedures
Ability to organize legal information and communicate effectively, with tact
Must pass background investigation and pre-employment physical; may work extra hours when needed

Responsabilités

Schedules, monitors and attends weekly felony and misdemeanor bond forfeiture dockets
Drafts legal documents for weekly bond forfeiture dockets and licenses; performs legal research
Coordinates cases with the County Clerk’s Office, District Clerk’s Office and Courts
Answers complex questions regarding bail bond licenses and related acts
Provides training relating to bond forfeiture issues
Maintains statistics and develops complex reports
Performs related duties as required
