Job summary

Austin Industrial operates nationwide and seeks a seasoned Boilermaker to construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary boilers and boiler house auxiliaries on industrial sites across the Texas region. Responsibilities include inspecting vessels, welding, rigging, and following blueprints to ensure safe, leakproof joints.

The role requires 4 years journeyman-level experience, NCCER certification, a valid driver’s license, and a TWIC card, with a strong safety mindset and on-site

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience as a Boilermaker.
• No minimum education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Examine boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, or vats to locate defects for repair.
• Bolt or arc welds pressure vessel structures and parts together using equipment.
• Inspect vessels or components to locate defects and ensure leakproof joints.
• Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts using torches and tools.
• Attach rigging and signal crane operators to lift heavy parts into place.
• Study blueprints to determine locations, relationships, or dimensions of parts.
• Position, align, and secure parts to boiler frames and tanks per blueprints.
