Job summary

Austin Industries is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary boilers and boiler house equipment on industrial sites across the United States. You will read blueprints, align components, and work with hand and power tools while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Journeyman-level background with 4 years of experience, NCCER certification, a valid driver's license, and a TWIC card.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements.
• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER, a Valid Driver’s License, and a TWIC Card.

Responsibilities

• Examine boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, or vats to locate defects.
• Bolt or arc welds pressure vessel structures and parts together.
• Inspect vessels or components to locate defects.
• Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts using torches, jacks, or welding equipment.
• Attach rigging and signal crane operators for lifting heavy sections.
• Lay out plate or sheet metal and mark cutting lines from blueprints.
• Install manholes, taps, and feedwater connections in boiler drums.
