Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary boilers and boiler house auxiliaries at our Orange, TX location. You will read blueprints, bolt and weld components, inspect vessels, and perform tests to ensure leak-tight joints.

Valid NCCER Boilermaker certification, driver’s license, and TWIC card are required; 3–5 years journeyman experience preferred. Work involves heavy lifting, tool use, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of journeyman level boiler maker experience.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• NCCER Boilermaker certification and a valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Examine boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, or vats to locate defects and repair.
• Bolt or arc welds pressure vessel structures and parts.
• Install and inspect fittings, valves, gauges, and feedwater connections.
• Follow blueprints to determine locations, relationships, or dimensions of parts.
• Assemble boiler components and perform required cleaning and testing of vessels.
