Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to construct, assemble, maintain and repair stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries at client sites. This hands-on role requires reading blueprints, aligning structures, and performing welding, fitting, and testing tasks with hand and power tools.

Eligible candidates have 3–5 years journeyman-level experience, a valid TWIC card and a driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of journeyman level experience.
• TWIC Card required and Driver’s License.
• Waste safety and site safety procedures familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Examine boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, or vats to locate defects and plan repairs.
• Bolt or arc welds pressure vessel structures and parts using welding equipment.
• Inspect components for defects such as tubes, valves, and controls.
• Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts and fittings.
• Install and align rigging; prepare boiler foundations and connections.
• Study blueprints to determine dimensions and fit.
