Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examine boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, or vats to locate defects for repair.
• Bolt or arc welds pressure vessel structures and parts using wrenches or welding equipment.
• Inspect assembled vessels or components to locate defects.
• Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts using torches, jacks, or welding equipment.
• Attach rigging and signal crane operators to lift heavy parts into place.
• Lay out plate and sheet steel and mark cutting lines per blueprints.
