Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Boilermaker to join our Pasadena, TX team on an on-site, full-time basis. The role involves constructing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing stationary boilers and boiler house auxiliaries in industrial settings, following blueprints and safety procedures.

Applicants must have 4 years journeyman-level experience, NCCER certification, a valid driver’s license, and a TWIC card; physical ability to handle heavy lifting and work at elevations is required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience required (4 years).
• NCCER certification and TWIC card.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at elevations.

Responsibilities

• Examine boilers and vessels for defects and perform repairs.
• Bolt or arc welds to join pressure vessel parts.
• Inspect components to locate defects and ensure quality.
• Install fittings, valves, gauges, and feedwater connections.
• Read blueprints to determine locations and dimensions.
• Operate tools and equipment safely in a boiler setting.
