Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks a Boiler Operator to run the plant Energy Center on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will monitor process equipment, log daily activities, and ensure safe, efficient operations while adhering to plant policies.

Requirements include Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher, CMMS proficiency, and strong communication and time management skills. Preferred candidates have technical training or 3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Preferred: two-year college or technical/vocational training, military background or 3 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Energy Center to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective production.
• Communicate with operators to ensure consistency across shifts.
• Follow plant policies and maintain a clean, organized plant.
• Assist with updating operating procedures and training manuals.
• Work with plant DCS, PLC systems and monitor logs daily.
• Support boilers, dryers, water treatment and auxiliary equipment.
• Follow SOPs for all process equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in QA, maintenance and safety programs.
