Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search seeks an Energy Center Operator to run the plant energy center on a 12-hour rotating shift. Responsibilities include monitoring plant processes, operating DCS/PLC systems, and ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality across shifts.

The role requires a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to work with CMMS. A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively with computerized maintenance management system.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred minimum degree from a two year college or technical/vocational school, military background or 3 years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the energy center safely, timely and cost effectively.
• Communicate regularly with all operators to ensure consistent operation across shifts.
• Follow all plant policies and procedures and keep the plant clean and organized.
• Assist in maintaining and updating operating procedures and training manuals for processes.
