Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Boiler Operator to oversee the Energy Center at our plant in Minnesota. The role involves monitoring plant processes and equipment to maximize production, quality and efficiency on a 12-hour rotating shift.

Candidates must hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher. Responsibilities include operating boilers, dryers, water treatment and auxiliary equipment, maintaining logs, following SOPs, coordinating with maintenance and QA, and

Qualifications

Must hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work with computerized maintenance management system.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Time management skills.
Preferred: 2-year college/technical/vocational degree, military background or 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the Energy Center to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective production.
Maintain daily logs for all plant equipment and coordinate with operators to ensure consistent operations across shifts.
Follow plant policies, procedures, and SOPs; keep the plant clean and organized.
Assist with maintenance and training materials for process operations.
Work with DCS/PLC control systems and supervise readiness of auxiliary equipment.
