Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an Energy Center Operator in Minnesota to operate the plant energy center on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will monitor process and equipment, ensure safe and cost-efficient operations, and maintain logs.

Qualifications include Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher, basic MS Office, and ability to work with CMMS; a two-year college or technical/vocational background is preferred. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a State of Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the energy center safely, timely and cost-effectively.
• Communicate regularly with all operators to ensure consistent shift operation.
• Follow plant policies and procedures; keep the plant clean and organized.
• Maintain and update operating procedures and training manuals for process operations.
• Monitor and control plant operations with DCS/PLC control systems; take daily logs.
• Assist with maintenance, including boilers, dryers, water treatment, and auxiliary equipment.
• Participate in QA: sample/test process streams and maintain QA records.
• Coordinate with maintenance to plan and perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Participate in safety, health and environmental programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
