Job summary

Sora Resource Group seeks a Boiler Operator to manage the Energy Center operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and product quality. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts, log maintenance, and coordination with DCS/PLC systems across boilers, dryers, and treatment processes.

Ideal candidates hold a Minnesota boiler license, have basic MS Office and CMMS skills, and demonstrate strong communication and time-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with a computerized maintenance management system.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Preferred 2-year degree or technical/vocational background; military or 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Energy Center on a 12-hour rotating shift safely and efficiently.
• Monitor process and equipment to ensure production quality and output.
• Maintain logs; work with DCS & PLC control systems; update procedures.
• Keep plant area clean and organized; follow all policies and SOPs.
• Support QA, maintenance coordination, and safety programs.
