Job summary

West Marine is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, understand shopper needs, and guide purchases of boating gear. You will assist customers, recommend products, and process transactions to create a positive shopping experience.

You will maintain inventory, price displays, and organized shelves, support BOPIS and ship-from-store, and help maintain store cleanliness. Strong communication and a friendly, customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and sales abilities.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate into product recommendations.
• Experience with retail environments and basic merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers entering the store.
