Job summary

CBRE seeks a Software Engineer to perform Master Systems Integration of building management systems, build control databases, create user interfaces, and set up control systems per project specs. On-site and remote support are provided to installers and customers; field startup and system commissioning are included.

The role is part of a global software engineering function delivering projects for large enterprise clients using industry-leading technologies. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years relevant experience.
• Understand procedures and standards to solve moderately complex problems.
• Travel up to 50% of annual time (overnight stays up to a week).

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Site checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specs and design docs.
• Coordinate system installation with installing contractors on site.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
