Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer/Analyst to perform master systems integration of building management systems, develop control databases, and create user interfaces based on project specifications. You will provide on-site and remote support, participate in field startup, commissioning, and remote software installations for large enterprise clients worldwide.

The role involves programming control applications, validating system graphics, and collaborating with project teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Must possess core knowledge in three of: Building Management Systems, Niagara (Required), Distech Controls, BuildingAutomation protocols (BACnet, Modbus), HVACControls, ITNetworking, Commissioning, Troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
On-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
Approve and develop system graphics displays according to project specs.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Document problem resolution and report findings to the Project team.
