Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer to advance Master Systems Integration of building management systems (BMS). You will build control databases, create user interfaces, and set up control systems per project specs and sales proposals.

The role includes on-site and remote support, field startup, and system commissioning, with responsibilities across testing, diagnostics, and documentation. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent combined experience.
• Experience solving moderately complex problems using established standards and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations, and panel layouts.
• Program control applications with various software tools.
• Site checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Verify operation per project specs, proposals, and design docs.
• Develop system graphic displays per specs or proposals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Perform advanced system evaluation and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues and implement corrective actions.
• Document resolutions and report findings to project team.
