Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer to perform master systems integration of building management systems, develop control databases, and create user interfaces according to project specs and sales proposals. The role includes on-site and remote support, field startup, and commissioning.

You will work on global projects for large enterprise clients using industry-leading technologies. Responsibilities include programming control applications, performing system checkout, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems, Niagara, DistechControls, BACnet or Modbus.
• Travel up to 50% annually, overnight up to a week.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams and panel layouts.
• Program control applications using various software tools.
• Site commissioning and testing of control applications.
• Coordinate system installation with installing contractors.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers.
• Document problem resolution and report findings to the project team.
