Job summary

CBRE in Olympia, WA is seeking a Software Engineer to perform Master Systems Integration of building management systems (BMS), build control databases, create user interfaces and set up control systems based on project specifications and sales proposals.

You will provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers, perform field startup and commissioning tasks, and contribute to projects on a global scale for large enterprise clients using industry-leading technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or software engineering with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of building management systems and industry standards.
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply judgment and precedents.

Responsibilities

Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
Program control applications using various software tools.
Site checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
Coordinate installation with installing contractors at job site as required.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Document problem resolution and report findings back to Project team for customer follow-up.
