Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer to perform Master Systems Integration of building management systems (BMS), develop control databases, and create user interfaces per project specs and sales proposals. Responsibilities include on-site and remote support, field startup, and commissioning of control software for enterprise clients.

You will contribute to system graphics, diagnostic evaluations, and collaboration with project teams, while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience; combination with education considered.
Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems and industry standards.
Travel up to 50% of annual time, overnight trips up to a week.

Responsibilities

Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
Coordinate system installation with installing contractors at job site as required.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Document problem resolution and report findings to Project team for customer follow-up.
