Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer Analyst to perform master systems integration of building management systems, build control databases, and create user interfaces. The role includes on-site and remote support, system commissioning, and software deployment for large enterprise projects on a global scale.

You will lead programming tasks, checkout systems at job sites, validate operation per specifications, and develop graphical displays. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.
• Approve and develop system graphic displays according to project specifications or sales proposal.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Perform multifaceted system evaluation and diagnostics.
• Isolate and troubleshoot escalated problems and take corrective action.
• Document problem resolution and report findings to Project team for customer follow-up.
• Support the management of software tools.
