Altium Packaging in Mt. Airy, NC is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines, and manage the production line. You will troubleshoot process issues and perform basic maintenance, collaborating closely with teammates to maximize efficiency and profits.

The role requires 2+ years of machine operator experience, high school diploma, and strong mechanical skills. Overtime may be required; safety and quality are priorities.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience as a machine operator.
• Blow mold operation experience.
• Knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Machine maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Physical stamina; stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Set up machines and calibrate to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed, etc.).
• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Perform audits, weights and quality checks.
• Record outputs and maintain production logs.
• Enter data into SPC database for quality control.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blow mold systems.
• Replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines as needed.
• Maintain activity logs and housekeeping.
