Job summary

Altium Packaging in Baltimore, MD is looking for an Operator to run blow-mold, grinders, and trimmer machines and to monitor the conveyor system on a 12-hour shift. You will troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to keep the production line operating smoothly.

You must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards. Responsibilities include quality checks, weighing, audits, documenting daily production reports, and training blow-mold employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AS degree is preferred.
• Formal education in: Apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
• 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold machines (wheels, reciprocating or shuttle) to produce bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blow-mold and support equipment.
• Adhere to quality control and blow-mold process procedures.
• Train blow-mold employees and prepare & document daily production reports.
• Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs
