Job summary

Altium Packaging in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for a 12-hour night shift. You will operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines, troubleshoot processes, and perform maintenance to keep production lines running efficiently.

The role requires 2+ years as a machine operator with blow mold experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints and manuals. Overtime may be required; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a machine operator.
• 2+ years’ blow mold machine operation preferred.
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed).
• Operate blow-mold machines and related equipment.
• Perform audits, weights and quality checks; maintain logs.
• Troubleshoot, minor repairs, and maintenance on blow mold & support equipment.
