Job summary

Altium Packaging in Mt. Airy, NC is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines on a 12-hour shift. You will troubleshoot process issues, maintain equipment, and collaborate with a production team to maximize efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or demonstrated experience.
• 2+ years of machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold, grinder and trimmer machines and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance.
• Set up machines and adjust settings to start and run production.
• Maintain logs, enter data into SPC, and perform quality checks.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
