Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a multitasking professional to support attraction, retention and scheduling of blood drive sponsors and feeder groups. You will educate stakeholders to maximize blood drive success and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals, while guiding volunteers with leadership support.

Role requires a Bachelor's degree (marketing/sales/communications) and 1 year of related experience. Travel may be required and a valid driver's license is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in marketing, sales, communications or related field.
• One year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, CRM/maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and event planning are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of creative strategies to attract, manage and retain potential blood drive sponsors and feeder groups for existing blood drives.
• Support 12-week drive management cycle and coordinate handoffs between internal stakeholders.
• Assist with territory plans to achieve collection goals and identify new sponsors.
• Provide organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinator to meet goals and ensure high customer service.
• Schedule education programs for sponsors, recruitment committees and volunteers to meet objectives.
• Maintain records to provide tracking and statistical data on sponsor group performance.
• Utilize tools and strategies to enhance service, efficiency and productivity.
• Provide own transportation for business purposes.
