American Red Cross Arlington, TX is seeking a Blood Collections Staff-Customer Service member to support donor experiences at collection sites. Paid phlebotomy training is provided, with opportunities to grow healthcare skills within the nation’s leading humanitarian organization.

You will engage donors, operate with a team, and help ensure compliant, safe blood collection. The role requires a valid driver's license, physical ability to lift and move equipment, and willingness to work varied

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights, stand or sit for long periods, and work long/irregular hours.
• Basic computer skills are required; proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Take the time to personally connect with donors – listen to their stories and help them understand how impactful their donation is.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment so our volunteer donors feel comfortable coming back again.
• Be detail oriented to ensure the blood collected meets goals, regulatory requirements and can be safely transfused.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and work with the team to set up and tear down equipment at donation sites.
