The American Red Cross is seeking staff to assist with the blood collection process, including transporting and setting up equipment, creating a welcoming donor environment, and following safety procedures. Paid phlebotomy training is provided to grow healthcare skills within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long hours; minimum height of 60 inches may be required to operate vehicles.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Engage with donors to explain the impact of their donation.
• Create a welcoming environment so donors feel comfortable returning.
• Ensure blood collection meets regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup/teardown at donation sites; height requirement may apply.
