Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Blood Collection Supervisor to lead our blood collection team and ensure donors have the best possible experience. You will manage staff, provide training, and model respect for both donors and colleagues while driving for results.

You will receive paid phlebotomy training and have opportunities to grow within the nation’s top humanitarian organization, with a schedule that may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience (four to eight years in a related field) is required.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights, long hours and schedule changes; minimum height may apply.
• Basic computer skills are desirable.
