American Red Cross in Fairfield, New Jersey is seeking a Team Lead/Charge to support our mobile blood drive operations. You will coach, mentor, and serve as a resource for blood collection staff while performing phlebotomy duties in the community.

The role includes paid phlebotomy training with opportunities to grow healthcare skills within the nation's leading humanitarian organization, and a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience in public-facing environments.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Customer service, verbal communication and public relations skills required.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
• Ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights and stand for long periods; ability to work long or irregular hours.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team at mobile blood drives and ensure excellent customer service.
