Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required.
• Laboratory/biotechnology experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage with scientific and technical customers.
• Long-term interest in a sales or business development career.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize, and qualify inbound and marketing-generated leads.
• Contact prospective customers to understand their scientific needs and timelines.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate field sales representative.
• Support field sales teams with prospecting and account development.
• Follow up on leads from campaigns, webinars, and trade shows.
• Maintain accurate lead and opportunity information in CRM systems.
• Develop knowledge of bioproduction products, workflows, customers, and sales processes.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and technical teams to improve lead conversion.
• Own ongoing tracking of biotech VC funding within your territory.
