Job summary

BreezeBio Inc. in Brisbane, CA, is hiring a Lab and Facility Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our chemistry and biology labs, office spaces, and overall facility.

The role is full-time, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, with ~70% lab focus and ~30% office work. The successful candidate will manage purchasing, inventory, equipment service, and safety programs, coordinate with vendors, support IT/AV, and ensure regulatory compliance with local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of biotech lab ops experience.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, shipping, and equipment service coordination.
• Experience managing hazardous waste and working with regulatory agencies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain lab spaces and office areas for safe, efficient daily operations.
• Manage purchasing and procurement of laboratory supplies and services; coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels, and replenish supplies as needed.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving of laboratory materials and required documentation.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, service visits, and records.
• Serve as primary liaison with building management on facilities matters.
• Lead lab safety initiatives and ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
• Manage hazardous and biohazardous waste programs and documentation.
