Job summary

BreezeBio Inc. is seeking an organized Lab Operations Associate to keep biology, chemistry, and shared laboratory spaces stocked, organized, and running smoothly.

This onsite, part-time role focuses on lab procurement, receiving, and inventory, with daily support coordinated by the Principal Operations Manager. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable in a busy lab, and willing to take a hands-on approach to maintaining efficient lab spaces.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States; onsite role with no visa sponsorship.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field, or equivalent laboratory experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in a laboratory, biotech, pharma, or related setting.
• Comfort around chemicals, biological materials, compressed gases, and lab equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on, service-oriented approach and willingness to assist with lab tasks.
• Ability to work independently with escalation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and replenish commonly used laboratory supplies, reagents, consumables, chemicals, and shared materials.
• Place approved orders and replenish laboratory supplies based on inventory levels and requests.
• Support purchasing through Zageno or other procurement platforms.
• Maintain accurate inventory and supply records and flag shortages or issues.
• Receive, label, store, and distribute incoming laboratory materials.
• Ensure temperature-sensitive materials are handled and stored promptly.
• Keep storage and lab spaces organized and up-to-date.
• Escalate equipment, facilities, or safety issues to the Principal Operations Manager.
• Assist with daily lab operations projects as assigned.
