Kite Pharma is seeking an Intern - CFO - FP&A to contribute to high-impact projects and gain real-world experience within a leading biopharma company in Santa Monica, CA. You will assist with financial planning, analysis, and close/forecast activities during a 10–12 week, full-time internship hybrid across campus and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD or PhD program with continued full-time enrollment in Fall.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA; official transcripts may be requested.
• Must be independently authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship needed.
• Full-time internship lasting 10–12 consecutive weeks between May and August; hybrid onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to high-impact projects supporting CFO-FP&A mission.
• Participate in professional development and leadership presentations.
• Gain exposure to corporate finance in biotech and assist with research, analysis, and a primary project.
• Assist with close, forecast activities, variance analysis, budgeting, and compliance records.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
• Develop understanding of target marketing in biotechnology and present findings.
