Amgen is seeking a District Sales Manager in the United States to lead a district, collaborate across marketing, finance, and other business units, and drive sales of therapies across Oncology, Inflammation, General Medicine, and Rare Disease. You will coach teams, hire staff, and develop local relationships with key opinion leaders.

The role emphasizes clinical knowledge delivery to medical professionals, adherence to training, and achieving targets within a dynamic, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of specialty sales experience.
• Experience in biologics preferred.
• Ability to recruit and hire sales representatives.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of payor coverage and market access.

Responsabilités

• Serve as liaison to medical professionals, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen medicines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with District Sales Managers, Regional Sales Directors and Corporate Account Managers.
• Track marketing messages and programs, manage district teams, and drive sales targets.
• Screen, interview, and hire candidates; ensure training compliance.
• Build local Opinion Leader relationships to meet objectives.
