Job summary

Amgen in the United States seeks a District Sales Manager to serve as the clinical bridge between products and medical professionals across Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and surrounding areas. You will drive territory performance, coach district teams, and ensure compliant execution of promotional activities.

The role requires strong sales leadership, ability to collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and other business units, and a track record in biologics or specialty sales.

Qualifications

• 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leading teams, projects or resources.
• Advanced degrees listed per qualification hierarchy with required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance and other business units.
• Track district performance and guide teams to meet sales and budget targets.
• Recruit and hire candidates; ensure training compliance.
• Develop local Opinion Leader relationships to achieve objectives.
