Job summary

WuXi AppTec Group is seeking a Director of Business Development to expand Biology Division in the US from a remote East Coast location. You will proactively manage the sales process, follow up on leads, and build a robust pipeline to meet annual revenue goals while upholding WuXi values.

Responsibilities include developing an annual plan, engaging customers and internal stakeholders, and driving new opportunities. Expect frequent travel; 40% on-site or overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences with 5+ years in industry and 7+ years in business development preferred.
• Experience in CRO is required.
• Candidates must be willing to travel frequently (car, train, plane).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual business plan to deliver targeted revenue goals.
• Establish relationships with internal leaders and market-leading customers to provide feedback on processes and market demands.
• Create new opportunities and expand customer base; identify key decision makers for WuXi Biology.
• Qualify leads and present opportunities to management and technical team.
• Coordinate meetings and proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals as directed.
