Job summary

Sartorius seeks a Separations Field Application Specialist to drive successful application, implementation, qualification and use of Separation technologies (NFF, TFF, UF/DF) for customers across RTP, NC and nearby regions, including GA, FL, TN, PR.

You will support the sales process with product positioning, demonstrations and trials, provide technical field support, and collaborate with Product Management and Quality to optimize customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological engineering, biotechnology or life sciences or equivalent demonstrated professional experience.
• 3+ years in process development, MSAT or bioprocessing in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals or CDMO environments.
• In-depth knowledge of TFF, UF/MF/DF, NFF, Viral Filtration and Clarification with optimization experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical/application issues in customer environments.
• Strong collaboration across Sales, Product Management, Quality and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales organization with product presentations, demonstrations and application studies.
• Be responsible for the assigned product line to support sales targets in the defined territory.
• Generate application trials and trial reports for customers and internal teams.
• Provide proactive technical support in the field and resolve implementation problems.
• Collect and analyze data on product line performance and customer feedback to drive improvements.
• Train internal sales and dealers; run external customer workshops and seminars.
• Collaborate to define trial scope and acceptance criteria.
