Job summary

10x Genomics Inc. seeks an Account Executive for the New York academic market. You will drive Xenium consumables adoption, consult with researchers, and manage territory strategy to accelerate product uptake across top academic and government centers in Greater New York.

Role requires strong life sciences sales experience, deep knowledge of single cell and spatial biology, and ability to travel. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and close opportunities while building

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field.
Minimum of 2 years sales experience in Life Science.
Extensive knowledge of single cell and spatial biology tools.
Ability to travel as needed for field-based role.
Proven ability to establish long-term customer relationships and close new business.
Strong customer-facing skills and consultative selling.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a territory plan to meet or exceed goals.
Consult with customers on technology solutions using technical credibility.
Demonstrate funnel management, hunting, and closing skills; use CRM and forecast accurately.
Establish trust with customers and ensure high post-sale satisfaction.
Develop deep knowledge of customer ecosystems and decision-makers.
Collaborate with sales and support teams to drive decisions.
Manage post-purchase relationship to support ongoing use and future opportunities.
Commit to rigorous business and territory planning with market knowledge.
