Job summary

10x Genomics, Inc. is seeking an energetic Account Executive, BioPharma to lead field sales and new business development across the Northeastern territory, with a focus on Boston metro.

You will identify untapped opportunities, penetrate new accounts, and expand market footprint while translating scientific goals into commercial value. The ideal candidate has a biology background, 1–2+ years sales experience in life sciences, and a proven hunter mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 1–2+ years inside or field sales in Life Sciences.
• Strong prospecting and hunter mindset.
• Basic familiarity with genomics technologies (Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Transcriptomics, Next Generation Sequencing).
• Willingness to travel frequently in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast region.

Responsibilities

• Hunt and close new BioPharma accounts across Northeastern territory.
• Align scientific goals with customer business objectives.
• Deliver technically rigorous sales presentations.
• Maintain CRM-driven pipeline and forecasting.
