Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a technical sales professional with strong downstream purification experience to support opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic United States. You will lead multi-step processes including TFF, chromatography and viral clearance, and convert opportunities into capital projects.

You will work with local account teams, MSAT, and partners to develop quotations, negotiate terms, and achieve regional sales targets while traveling 30-40% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of downstream purification experience in biopharma.
• Experience with automated systems.
• Extensive knowledge of biotech downstream processing.
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to represent the organization in front of clients.
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment and across boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic US.
• Develop and present commercial and technical quotations to customers.
• Lead negotiations on price and contractual terms.
• Manage territory sales targets and collaborate with MSAT and account managers.
• Coordinate with internal partners to drive capital projects.
