Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Customer Applications professional to advance biosafety solutions, including aseptic and virus filtration and validation services. You will work with Field Marketing and Commercial teams to drive regional sales and deliver technical expertise to customers across the Western US.

Expect 20–30% travel and close collaboration with Process Development Scientists to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of technical life sciences experience with sales or customer-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of downstream processing of biopharmaceuticals and production methods.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of aseptic and virus filtration technologies with commercial partners.
• Develop regional sales initiatives and support field marketing and commercial teams.
• Plan and execute regional action plans with cross-functional partners.
• Identify growth opportunities based on customer insights and market dynamics.
• Build credibility with customers and internal teams, positioning products effectively.
• Deliver technical presentations in person and virtually to customers.
• Prepare and validate data for prioritizing customer projects.
• Act as a MilliporeSigma ambassador and support broader product ranges.
