Job summary

Syneos Health in Durham, NC is seeking an Account Development Manager to proactively identify, engage, and qualify prospective biopharma customers and support our business development strategy.

You will drive high-volume outreach, perform needs assessments, and hand off qualified opportunities to sales teams, using CRM tools and data analytics to optimize engagement strategies and improve pipeline health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in healthcare or related field.
• Proven success in high-volume outbound prospecting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to build rapport with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with CRM and data analytics tools to guide outreach decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound outreach to decision-makers at prospective biopharmaceutical organizations.
• Craft tailored messages articulating Syneos Health’s value proposition and offerings.
• Execute campaigns and conference activity to broaden market awareness.
• Review inbound leads and evaluate fit based on prospect needs and pipeline stage.
• Qualify and transition leads to Inside Sales or Business Development teams.
• Maintain detailed CRM records of outreach, qualification outcomes, and account intel.
