Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician to support USCIS ASC operations in Norridge, IL. This casual on-call role requires reliability to cover shifts Mon-Fri 7:45am-4:15pm with no guaranteed hours, great for supplemental income while staying active in a government environment.

Responsibilities include biometrics processing, fingerprinting, photo capture, entry screening, and high-quality customer service. Candidates must meet security credentials and complete training within sixty days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US citizenship required.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand upright on one’s feet for scheduled shift duration.
• Successful completion of biometrics training and certification within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure all entrants to the ASC are approved applicants and visitors while providing crowd control and assisting staff with rules and policies.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
