Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician to support USCIS ASC operations in Bartlett. This on-call position requires availability five days a week, 7:45am–4:15pm, with no guaranteed hours. You will process biometrics, screen entrants, and provide customer service for applicants and staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining security, handling PII with care, and assisting in administrative duties. On-call work offers supplemental income and flexibility within a government program context.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand for scheduled shift duration.
• Successful completion of the biometrics training within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration.
• Ensure entrants are approved and provide crowd control while enforcing ASC rules.
• Provide front-line customer service on behalf of Amentum and the US Government.
• Perform quality biometrics processing, including fingerprints, photos, and signatures.
• Screen applicants for valid appointment notices and IDs before entry.
• Maintain visitor control logs and complete administrative paperwork.
• Assist in calling local law enforcement or first responders when necessary.
• Support site staff with daily administrative duties and processing times.
