Blue Water Thinking in Reno, NV seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician – Info/Sys to maintain and secure networked medical devices, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and software repairs, with Cerner EHR integration preferred.

You will work with IT and cybersecurity teams, manage CMMS records, configure VLANs, IPs, and network security, and train staff while upholding patient care standards and regulatory requirements.

Competenze

• Three years of hospital/healthcare experience maintaining medical equipment.
• One year of specialized experience in medical information systems and networking.
• Knowledge of computer virus protection software and information security tools.
• Experience with TCP/IP, HL7, networking, network security, and DICOM standards.

Mansioni

• Perform preventive maintenance on networked medical equipment to ensure functionality and extend lifespan.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in medical devices per manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct incoming inspections of new medical equipment for safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with IT/cybersecurity to implement medical device security protocols.
• Install, calibrate, and configure medical equipment following safety guidelines.
• Maintain CMMS records for maintenance and inspections.
• Provide technical training to medical staff on equipment operation.
